I don't want this mini-blog to turn into a rant against Trader Joe's market, but it seems that they are dropping more and more of their un-sugared dried fruits for sugary sweet ones. They used to have un-sulphured, un-sugared, un-preserved apples, apricots, cherries, gooseberries, mango and more.
Now when I go there they have got some of the same, but most all of them have corn syrup, cane sugar and the like as part of the ingredient list.
I thought Trader Joe's was supposed to be a healthy place to buy food - where you got away from sugary processed foods. Maybe not any more.
